on rainy days when every is wet, cold, gloomy-grey and adding to a foul mood,

sometimes all you can do is smile. 

today, in spite of:

 a persistent cough that puts my throat in agony

missing my boyfriend

lack of sleep

not being able to drink coffee

honey not sugar in tea

i still smile because:

may showers will bring june flowers (it's new england here, what can I say?)

there is greenness underneath all the wet, cold, and grey

i am blessed with a special best friend/boyfriend

i can sleep in tomorrow morning

working extra hours means extra money

God provides. always. 

tea to soothe the throat

music to soothe the lonely feelings

smile.
